Abigail Wallace (Millis, Mass.) scored her first career marker as Caldwell University women's lacrosse fell, 17-4, to Thomas Jefferson University in a CACC matchup at Kiwanis Oval on Saturday morning.
Caldwell (1-5, 0-2 CACC) hung tough early, when Cipot's second goal of the first quarter, a one-up goal with 6:55 left, pulled CU to within 3-2. But the Rams (7-2, 3-0) outscored the hosts, 9-0, the rest of the half to take control.
The Cougars got late goals by senior midfielder
Meghan Korzevinski (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) and Wallace for the final margin.

Isabella Vitella caused three turnovers and grabbed two ground balls while freshman defender
Kendall Day (Harding, Pa.) and freshman GK
Addison Lex (Williamstown, N.J.) collected three grounders each.
Lex also secured four saves in a season-high 34 minutes of play in net. Starter, senior
Sarahkate Schneider (Somerset, N.J.) made seven stops.
The Cougars next host Post University at Kiwanis Oval on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
