CALDWELL, N.J. -- Senior SS Christian Rinick (Marlton, N.J.) had three hits and freshman CF Izaiah Robinson (Franklin Twp., N.J.) and senior DH Chris Hopf (Middlesex, N.J.) hit back-to-back home runs, but Caldwell baseball fell, 16-6, to Post in a CACC contest on Tuesday at Kiwanis Oval.

The Cougars scored first, plating two in the first inning on consecutive RBI walks by junior CF Jimmy Turchi (Bridgewater, N.J.) and sophomore RF Alan Hernandez (Boca Raton, Fla.), then scored two more runs in the second and fourth for a 4-3 lead.

But the Eagles (10-12, 4-2 CACC) put together big innings in the fifth and sixth to put the game away.

Caldwell stole seven bases in the game, including two by freshman 3B Justin Levine (Staten Island, N.Y.).

Junior RHP Tiernan Blesi (Shamong, N.J.) pitched a hit;ess seventh inning in his Cougars debut.

The Cougars (1-10, 0-6) next host Dominican on Thursday at 3 pm at Kiwanis Oval.
