WILMINGTON, Del. -- Freshman 3B Justin Levine (Staten Island, N.Y.) had three hits as Caldwell baseball fell, 11-7 at Goldey-Beacom (11-9, 4-1 CACC) in a CACC matchup at Doyle Field on Sunday.

Senior 2B Stephen Young Jr. (Middlesex, N.J.) had two stolen bases for the Cougars (1-9, 0-5 CACC), who scored in the first inning when Levine's double plated Young Jr., and in the fifth when Young Jr.'s grounder plated a run. Sacrifice flies by senior RF Jimmy Kurtz (Buena, N.J.) and senior 1B Chris Hopf (Middlesex, N.J.) plated two more runs and an error brought in a third in the seventh.

A two-run single by junior DH Devon Cass (New City, N.Y.) in the ninth pulled the Cougars to within 9-5 and after they loaded the bases with two outs had the tying run at the plate before a ground out ended the game. 

With his 37th and 38th career stolen bases on Sunday, Young moved into fifth on the Cougars's all-time list... Senior SS Christian Rinick (Marlton, N.J.) is now eighth with 34.

The Cougars are back in action on Tuesday when they host Post on Tuesday at Kiwanis Oval.
