A minute later, Horn took an inbounds pass from Evans and laid it in for a 63-59 advantage with 1:44 left. Evans then stole an HFU pass and after CU ran the clock to under a minute, a three pointer with 51 seconds left pulled the hosts to within 63-62. Horn delivered another big basket with 25.2 ticks left for a three-point Cougars lead.
An HFU free throw made it a two point game, but Rochelle grabbed the rebound on the second, then sank two free throws for the four-point lead with 12 seconds left and two more with 3.3 to go to salt it away.Â
Thompson recorded his third double-double with 11 points and a game-best 12 rebounds, while Evans dropped in 12 to go with five assists and three steals.
