GARDEN CITY, N.Y. -- Caldwell (5-1-1) saw their six-game unbeaten string come to an end against the Adelphi Panthers (5-2-0) 8-1 at Motamed Field.

Sophomore midfielder Melissa Pires (Elizabeth, N.J.) scored her second goal of the season unassisted on a nifty corner kick.

Senior goalkeeper Ariana Gaminara (Las Vegas, Nev.) made a game-high seven saves.

Adelphi's junior forward Kayleigh Goodrich scored two goals to lead all players.

Caldwell will travel to Lakewood N.J. and take on the Georgian Court Lions in a CACC battle on Saturday morning at 10 AM.
