NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Caldwell University sophomore forward
Ana Pinzon (Medellin, Colombia) has been named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week, the league announced today. Pinzon had a goal in each of the Cougars' CACC triumphs this week.
Pinzon scored her third career goal -- and third game-winner -- in the 87th minute against Dominican on Wednesday, breaking a 2-2 tie and propelling CU to the win. She followed up with a goal to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead in an eventual 3-0 win at Goldey-Beacom on Saturday.
Both goals came of the bench.

Ayla Fraser (Passaic, N.J.) was named to the league Honor Roll after notching a goal an an assist vs. Dominican and keying the defense that spun its third shutout of the season on Saturday vs. GBC, limiting the lightning to two shots in the contest.
The Cougars take on CACC rival Bridgeport on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the annual Bilingual Broadcast game live on CACC Network.
