CALDWELL, N.J. -- Dominican scored a late goal, breaking a 1-1 deadlock and giving the visiting Chargers a 2-1 men's soccer victory over Caldwell in the CACC opener for both squads at Kiwanis Oval on Wednesday.

The Cougars had tied the score in the 73rd minute when senior forward Emilio Segovia (Mexico City) headed a long pass from junior goalkeeper Justin Talbot (Moorestown, N.J), ahead to sophomore midfielder Hakon Rake (Lommedalen, Norway), who nudged it past the DUNY (1-3-1. 1-0 CACC) keeper.

Talbot made seven saves for the Cougars (1-3, 0-1), who visit Goldey-Beacom on Saturday in Wilmington, Del., before returning home to face Bridgeport on Tuesday.
