WILMINGTON, Del. -- Freshman forward
Roy Torjman (Tel Aviv, Israel) scored his first two career goals, one in each half, propelling Caldwell University men's soccer to a 4-0 triumph over Goldey-Beacom in a CACC matchup at NCS Field on Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars (2-3, 1-1 CACC) struck first when
Hakon Raken scored in his fourth straight game, the unassisted marker putting the visitors up in the 22nd minute. Torjman then doubled the CU advantage in the 40th minute on an assist by junior midfielder
Camilo Murillo (Heredia, Costa Rica) for a 2-0 halftime lead.
It was more of the same in the second half for the Cougars, who kept up the pressure, outshooting the Lightning (1-5, 0-2) by an 8-3 count after the intermission. Torjman netted his second goal of the game in the 79th minute, with junior midfielder
Darius Holmes (Newark, N.J.) assisting. Freshman defender
Jonathan Del Cid (Hightstown, N.J.) capped the scoring with a goal in the 84th minute with help from junior midfielder
Ingebrigt Braenden for the final margin.

Justin Talbot (Moorestown, N.J.) turned in his second clean sheet of the season, recording three saves.
Pedro Montanes made three saves for the Lightning.
Caldwell jumps right back at it in CACC play on Tuesday when it hosts Bridgeport at 4 p.m. at Caldwell Athletic Field.
