Caldwell University Men's Soccer Picked Seventh in Preseason CACC Poll
Cougars Coming Off Second Straight Winning Season, Begin 2025 With New Coach Max Correa
NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Caldwell University men's soccer has been selected to finish seventh in the Central Atlantic Athletic Conference (CACC) preseason coaches' poll, the league announced today. The Cougars finished 8-6-3 last year, including a 7-3-1 CACC mark, advancing to the CACC Tournament for the third straight year.
The Cougars will be under the direction of first-year Head Coach Max Correa. The squad returns 10 players who started eight or more games for the 2024 Cougars, including CACC Goalkeeper of the Year, junior
Justin Talbot (Moorestown, N.J.) and Second Team All-CACC midfielder
Ingebrigt Braenden (Trondheim, Norway).Â
Caldwell opens the 2025 season vs. Bentley at the Georgian Court Univ. Tournament in Lakewood, N.J. on Sept. 4. The team's first home match is set for Sept. 17 vs. Dominican University, which also serves as the CACC opener.
