Sean Brown (West Orange, N.J.) went 4-for-5 with two RBI, helping Caldwell baseball to a 7-2 win in the opening game of its CACC doubleheader at Lincoln on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lions (7-34, 3-25 CACC) won the nightcap, 7-1. to gain the split.
In game one, the Cougars (20-21, 13-17 CACC) jumped out to an early lead, plating three in the first on an error, passed ball and RBI double by Brown. The Cougars tacked on a run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by senior 1B

Rigas was masterful, earning his third win of the season with the effort as he limited the Lions to just two runs, one earned.
In game two, Lincoln used a three-run fourth for a 4-0 lead, and had a 6-0 advantage before junior 1B
Jimmy Kurtz (Buena, N.J.) sacrifice fly plated the Cougars' only run of the game.
Caldwell opens a four-game set with Felician on Friday, hosting the Golden Falcons in a doubleheader beginning at noon. It's also Senior Day, as Brown,
