SPRINGFIELD, MA --   The junior point guard duo of Todd Rochelle (Laurelton, N.Y.) and Jaiden Williams (New York, N.Y.) tied for the team lead with 15 points apiece as men's basketball (0-6) rally fell short to the AIC Yellowjackets (1-5) 75-72 at the Henry A. Butova Gym.

Senior point guard Melvin Evans (Bronx, N.Y.) picked up a game high eight rebounds. Rochelle had a season best five steals.

Caldwell was down 10 (71-61) with 3 minutes to go. The Cougars managed to tie it up at 72 on a put back layup by Williams with 13 seconds left.

AIC's Aleksy Walczak hit the game winning three pointer with .7 seconds left. 

It was a back and forth battle that featured 11 lead changes and four ties.

Junior forward Roniel Oguekwe (Galway, Ireland) scored two points in his first game action for the Cougars.

Caldwell will hit the road again and travel to Rutherford, N.J. to take on the Felician Golden Falcons on Wednesday at 8 PM.
