NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Senior forward Taina Gervais (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) has been named Central Atlantic Athletic Conference (CACC) Co-Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 2, the league announced this afternoon.

Gervais had two goals and an assist in each of Caldwell's victories last week, scoring two in the first 26 minutes at Post and netting two in the first 31 minutes at Holy Family, both Caldwell victories.

Her 26 points (nine goals and eight assists) ranks fourth in the CACC, and her 22 career tallies are eighth in school history in just two seasons.

Gervais, the 2024 CACC Player of the Year, has five goals in the last three Cougars games and seven in the last eight.

Gervais shared the weekly honor with Nikki Dedes of Jefferson.

She and the rest of the Cougars complete the regular season on Tuesday vs. Felician (2:30 p.m.), then host a quarterfinal matchup in the CACC Tournament on Saturday at 1 p.m. Seeds and opponent will be determined and announced on Wednesday.
