CALDWELL, N.J. -- Senior outside hitter Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) recorded 18 kills to lead Caldwell as they dropped a close one to the Bridgeport Purple Knights (9-17, 9-5 CACC) 3-1 at the Newman Center.

Senior setter captain Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif.) added to her career totals with 27 assists. She also led the Cougars with 13 digs.

After Caldwell held a 17-12 advantage in the first set, Bridgeport stormed back to take the set 25-23.

The Cougars answered back and tied things up with a decisive 25-15 2nd set win.

The Purple Knights saved their best for last when they rallied to win the final two sets of the match 25-13 and 25-12.

Bridgeport's Hailey Jessen had a game-high 26 kills.

Caldwell will host Dominican University in the regular-season finale on Wednesday at 5PM.
