PHILADELPHIA -- Junior midfielder
Darius Holmes (Newark, N.J.) scored his first two goals in a Caldwell uniform as the Cougars men's soccer squad fell, 6-2, at Holy Family in a CACC contest at Tiger Field on Saturday.
Holmes scored his first in the 51st minute, assisted by senior forward
Emilio Segovia (Mexico City). Then 20 minutes laster he put in his second marker of the day, with freshman forward
Roy Torjman (Tel Aviv, Israel) credited with his second assist of the season.
Sophomore
Jose De Oliveira Curado (Santiago do Cacém, Portugal) made four saves in 45 minutes of action in goal in the second half.
Ned Lewis scored three goals for the Tigers (5-6-3, 3-3-3 CACC), whose win eliminated the Cougars (4-9-3, 2-5-2) from postseason consideration.
Caldwell completes its season on Wednesday vs. Felician at 2:30 p.m.
