STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Senior forward Rosio Cardenas (Forked River, N.J.) beat the College of Staten Island (2-7-1) goalkeeper in the low right corner of the net that ended up being the deciding goal in a 1-0 Cougars win at Dolphins Soccer Field .

Cardenas scored her team-leading 7th goal of the season in the 60th minute. She had a whopping 12 total shots and three shots on goal to lead CU.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jackie Regan (Garden Grove, Calif.) made five saves in her first start and earned her first career shutout.

Caldwell (7-1-1) incredibly outshot CSI by a 28-8 margin.

The Cougars will travel to Philadelphia , PA to take on the undefeated in CACC play Jefferson  Rams in a huge matchup on Saturday at 12 PM.
