The Cougars got off to a fast start, taking the first set, 25-15, building a 12-5 lead out of the gate, with two service aces by freshman hitter
Kaybri Lowry (Davidson, N.C.) capping a 7-0 run that also included two kills by Schubert-Brown. Leading, 20-14, the hosts finished off the set with a kill by junior hitter

Caldwell nearly pulled out the fourth set, but CHC (3-8, 1-3 CACC) scored the last three points to secure the 28-26 set win and 3-1 match triumph.
Senior setter
Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif.) had 12 assists and Lowry had a season team high six service aces for the Cougars.
Caldwell continues CACC play on Tuesday at Bridgeport with a 7 p.m. start.
