BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Freshman's setter Sienna Reddell (Roseville, Calif.) tossed a team-best eight assists and senior hitter Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) powered a team-high seven kills as Caldwell volleyball fell, 3-0, at Bridgeport in a CACC matchup at Harvey Hubbell Gym on Tuesday evening.
Schubert-Brown had just one attack error on the evening for a fine .286 hitting percentage. She was helped offensively by freshman hitter Marley Rudolph (Hampstead, Md.), who had four kills, and senior middle blocker Alexa McEwan (Beachwood, N.J.), who posted three along with a block.
Reddell and junior libero Ava Railton (Santa Rose Beach, Fla.) led the Cougars' defensive effort with six digs apiece, and senior DS Torrien Jones (Camp Meade, Md.) and sophomore DS Stephanie Ramos (Jackson, N.J.) notched five each.
The Cougars next host Holy Family in a CACC contest at the Newman Center on Friday at 5 p.m.
