NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Sophomore goalkeeper
Justin Talbot (Moorestown, N.J.) earned his second straight CACC Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week honor and junior midfielder
Ingebrigt Braenden (Trondheim, Norway) was tabbed co-Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, the league announced today.
Talbot was again sensational for the Cougars, posting a 1-0 shutout win over No. 14 Felician on Wednesday, recording five saves, then posting four stops in Saturday's 3-1 triumph over Goldey-Beacom. His goals against average of 0.40 tops the CACC and ranks tied for seventh in the NCAA.
Braenden also had a big hand in the two Cougars victories, netting the only goal in the win over Felician and the first marker against GBC.
The Cougars, alone atop the table with a 3-0 record and nine points, next visits Wilmington on Saturday.
