Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) led the attack with six kills and junior setter
Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif.) had four assists, five digs and three kills as Caldwell volleyball fell, 3-0, to visiting Adelphi at the Newman Center.
The Cougars' most competitive set was the first, when three kills by Schubert-Brown pulled CU to within 10-9. But five straight points stretched the lead for Adelphi (8-6) and the Panthers settled in thereafter.
Freshman setter
Grace Moliterno (Chester, N.Y.) had a team-best five assists and pulled three digs for the Cougars (0-8).
Caldwell next visits Southern Conn. on Saturday in New Haven, Conn., before returning to CACC play on Wednesday vs. Felician.
