Zakkery Glatfelter (New Oxford, Pa.) netted one as Caldwell men's lacrosse fell, 24-6 at Assumption at Brian Kelly Stadium on Saturday.
Tarnowski got the Cougars on the board at 2:53 of the second on a feed from freshman defender
James McCarthy (Middletown, N.J.). The rookie then scored an unassisted marker five minutes later, before Glatfelter took a feed from Staudte for his first goal of the young season. Staudte set up Tarnowski for his third goal of the game at 8:25 of the fourth, before netting one of his own, a man-up tally at 7:52. Staudte closed the scoring in the final minute off a feed from Tarnowski.

Shane Murphy (Middletown, N.J.) made 21 saves and freshman
Ethan Shearer (New Oxford, Pa.) made  three stops for the Cougars.
CU continues its tour of top NE10 opponents at Saint rose on Wednesday in Albany, N.Y., before hosting their home opener and CACC opener vs. Holy Family next Saturday at 11 a.m. at Essex Valley Field.
