CALDWELL, N.J. -- Sophomore Sarahkate Schneider (Somerset, N.J.) made her first start of the season in goal a good one, recording 14 saves as Caldwell Women's Lacrosse fell, 15-2, to Jefferson (3-3, 3-0 CACC) in a CACC matchup at Essex Valley Field in a game shortened to three quarters because of driving rain and inclement weather.

Freshman midfielder Tiana Cipot (No. Brunswick, N..J.) and graduate attacker Tala Marzooq (Manama, Bahrain) had goals for the Cougars (1-4, 0-3), both on free position shots in the second quarter.

The Cougars next face Post in a CACC matchup on Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Essex Valley.
