W. CALDWELL, N.J. --  Sophomore midfieder Megan Molinelli (East Windsor, N.J.) and graduate attacker Tala Marzooq (Manama, Bahrain) had three goals each and sophomore Sarahkate Schneider netminder (Somerset, N.J.) stopped 16 shots as Caldwell Women's Lacrosse fell, 17-7, in a CACC matchup at Essex Valley Field on Tuesday.

After junior Brady Kells (Parsippany, N.J.) got the Cougars on the board late in the first, Molinelli and Marzooq tallied consecutive goals early in the second to pull the Cougars to within 6-3. After a Post (4-3, 2-2 CACC) marker, Marzooq's second goal made it 7-4. She completed the hat trick early in the third, and Molinelli posted two late scores for the final margin.

The Cougars (1-5, 0-4) next host Felician on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Essex Valley Field.
