BRIDGEPORT, CT.  --  Women's soccer (11-4-1, 9-2-0) came back from a 1-0 deficit and fired in two straight goals in the second half to shock their CACC rival Bridgeport Purple Knights (6-8-3, 5-5-0) 2-1 at Knights Field. 

Freshman forward Ana Maria Pinzon (Medellin, Colombia) scored her first goal of the season that was set up on a beautiful cross by senior forward Melissa Martinez (Elizabeth, N.J.). Martinez collected her seventh assist. 

Pinzon's goal in the 62nd minute proved to be the clincher for Caldwell in the contest, which was continued today in the first half after it was suspended last Tuesday.

Junior forward Rosio Cardenas (Forked River, N.J.) tied up the score at one in the 48th minute with her fifth goal this year. 

Junior forward Taina Gervais (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) had a big day, tallying her third and fourth assists on both of the Cougars' goals.

Junior goalkeeper Ariana Gaminara (Las Vegas) made three saves to help Caldwell get the comeback win.

Caldwell clinched the #2 seed in the CACC Tournament and will host the first round game next Monday at 1 PM against a TBD team.
