Justin Talbot (Moorestown, N.J.) recorded five saves but Caldwell men's soccer fell, 2-0, to Jefferson in a CACC matchup at Caldwell Athletic field on a sunny, windy Saturday afternoon.
The visiting Rams (9-6-2, 4-5-1) scored in the 15th and 53rd minutes to secure the victory.
Both teams notched 10 shots on the day.
Before the game, 10 Cougars were honored on Senior Day in the team's penultimate home game. Caldwell hosts Bloomfield on Tuesday in their last regular season home game. The Cougars have secured a berth in the CACC Tournament, which begins play on Sunday, November 10 at the higher seed.
