Jeremy Klinger (Kearny, N.J.) and graduate student midfielder/forward
Alex Spencer (Kingston, Jamaica) each had big days on the pitch, scoring two goals apiece to lead the Cougars (8-5-3, 7-3-1) past their CACC rival Bloomfield Bears (1-12-2, 0-9-1) 8-1 at Caldwell Athletics Field.
Klinger scored his second and third goals this season. Junior midfielder
Ingebrigt Braenden (Trondheim, Norway) and freshman midfielder
Haakon Rake (Lommedalen, Norway) assisted on Klinger's first goal of the game.
Braenden would tally two more assists later on goals by sophomore forward
Theodore Hertzenberg (Lommedalen, Norway) and Spencer. Braenden now has eight assists this year.
Hertzenberg found the back of the net for the sixth time for the Cougars. Spencer beat the Bears keeper for his second and third goals.
Spencer also picked up his second assist of the year on freshman forward
Sam Porthouse's (Gateshead, England) first goal. Â
Porthouse collected his first assist as a Cougar on Spencer's second goal of the match.
Senior forward/midfielder
Angel Rodriguez (Paterson, N.J.) took advantage of his opportunity and converted his only shot of the game into his first collegiate goal.
Sophomore forward
Aimar Carter (Clifton, N.J.) added an assist for the second consecutive game on Rodriguez's goal.
Senior midfielder
Ricardo Vieira (Newark, N.J.) buried a penalty kick chance for his first Division II goal as well.

Justin Talbot (Moorestown, N.J.), senior
Dylan Valencia (Madrid, Espana) and graduate student
Jalen Folsom (Beachwood, N.J.) combined to make two saves in the win.
It was a very dominating win for Caldwell and will give them confidence as they get ready for the CACC Tournament.
The Cougars earned the #4 seed and will host the Wilmington Wildcats in their opening round game of the CACC Tournament on Sunday at 1 PM.Â
