Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) contributed 10 kills and six digs as Caldwell volleyball celebrated Senior Night with a 3-0 win over Bloomfield in a CACC matchup in the home finale at Newman Center.
Senior middle hitter
Alexa McEwan (Chatsworth, N.J.) was deadly from the service line, posting a career-best 10 service aces to go with six kills and a block.

Caldwell (2-24, 2-13 CACC) used runs to put away all three sets in comfortable fashion. In the first, leading, 12-10, the Cougars scored eight of the next 10 points, including three of McEwan's seven aces in the set and two more by Schubert-Brown for a 20-12 advantage. After a Bears point, the Cougars would take five of the next six points to close set #1.
It was more of the same in the second, as the hosts broke open a narrow 14-11 edge with four straight points, then mostly traded points the rest of the way for a 25-18 win.
In the third, the Cougars took a 15-6 lead, with three kills by Schubert-Brown in a four-point span putting CU up to stay. The Cougars would close with five of the last six points, with two kills by Putsky, including the final point, sealing the victory.
Junior hitter
Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif.) had eight kills, four digs and three service aces, Piper contributed six kills and Putsky finished with four kills and a block.
Caldwell visits Dominican on Saturday in the team's final game of the season.
