Josh Smith (Parsippany, N.J.) showcased his lightning-fast speed as he broke away for two long touchdown runs of 90 and 63 yards.Â
Smith rushed for 191 yards and threw for 81 yards with a 2-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver
Jarred Montoya (Union City, N.J.).Â
Sophomore running back
Curtis McDougald (Elizabeth, N.J.) rushed for 93 yards on nine attempts and had a 23-yard touchdown run.
The Caldwell defense smothered the Spartans all night long, forcing four interceptions and three fumbles.
Senior defensive back
Kyle Readus (Paterson, N.J.) led the Cougars with two interceptions for 26 yards.
Senior linebacker
Michael Bonsu (Atlanta, Ga.) was a menace in the Spartans backfield, recording four sacks.
Senior defensive back
Amajuwan Murray (Rahway, N.J.) paced Caldwell with 11 total tackles, forced a fumble, and returned an interception for 35 yards.
