W. CALDWELL, N.J.,  --  Caldwell sprint football (3-4, 0-3) fell in the season finale against a very good Navy Midshipmen team (6-1, 3-0) 28-14 on Senior Day at Bonnel Field. Backup freshman quarterback Jamiel Lawrence (Jersey City, N.J.) threw for 194 yards and scored both of the Cougars touchdowns.

Lawrence ran for a two-yard touchdown to get the Cougars on the board early in the fourth quarter. He also connected with senior defensive back Kyle Readus (Paterson, N.J.) on a three-yard touchdown pass with a minute to go in the game.

Junior wide receiver Arjun Petgrave (Cranford, N.J.) had a big day, hauling in 106 yards for the second time this season. His nine receptions were a career-high.

The Caldwell defense did an excellent job in the first half, limiting the Midshipmen to 7 points.

Senior defensive back Amajuwan Murray (Rahway, N.J.) led CU with seven solo tackles.
