Women’s Soccer Falls In Tough Battle To CACC Foe Wilmington

Gaminara makes two saves in defeat

WILMINGTON, DE  --  Caldwell Women's Soccer (6-3-1, 4-1-0) came up a little short in a defensive struggle against a very good Wilmington Wildcats squad (8-2-0, 5-0-0) 1-0 at the WU Athletics Complex. Both teams entered the match with 4-0 records in the CACC.

Junior Ariana Gaminara (Las Vegas) (two saves) did her best to keep the Cougars in the game, facing 14 shots and saving two.

Junior forward Taina Gervais (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) and graduate student defender Megan Feehan (Point Pleasant, N.J.) each had a shot on goal for Caldwell.

Caldwell will look to get back in the win column when they take on Dominican University in Orangeburg, NY on Wednesday at 3:30 PM.
