Box Score PHILADELPHIA -- Sophomore forward Hugo Thell (Höganäs, Sweden) scored his first two Caldwell goals and six other Cougars had one each as men's soccer blanked Chestnut Hill, 7-0, at Victory Field in CACC action on Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars (7-3-3. 6-1-1 CACC) scored early and often in this one, as junior midfielder Ingebrigt Braenden (Trondheim, Norway) got the Cougars on the board just 32 seconds into the contest. Sophomore forward Theodore Hertzenberg (Lommedalen, Norway) and sophomore defender Yigit Kilic (Istanbul, Turkiye) notched goals within 43 seconds of each other in the 30th minute for a 3-0 Cougar lead. Graduate forward Alex Spencer (Kingston, Jamaica) and Thell then closed out the first half with markers in the 42nd and 43rd minutes, respectively, for the robust 5-0 lead at intermission.

Freshman forward Jeremy Klinger (Kearney, N.J.) scored his first career goal, before Thell closed out the scoring with his second of the day.

Sophomore goalkeeper Justin Talbot (Moorestown, N.J.) recorded three saves in 67 minutes of action, and freshman Jose De Oliveira Curado (Santiago do Cacem, Portugal) finished out the combined shutout.

The Cougars have won three straight. and next face University of Bridgeport in an away contest on Wednesday  before returning home to face Jefferson (Nov. 2) and Bloomfield (Nov. 7) in the final two regular season home games.
