Sarah Costanza (Morris Plains, N.J.) scored in the first, 48th, and 63rd minutes, as Caldwell women's soccer won its CACC opener, 4-0, at Bloomfield at Foley Field on Tuesday.
Costanza got CU off on the right foot immediately as the Cougars pressured the ball and senior midfielder
Ashley Georgevich (Saddle Brook, N.J.) stole the ball, threaded a pass to sophomore forward
Rosio Cardenas (Forked River, N.J.), who beat her defender and sent a perfect feed across to Costanza for the 1-0 lead.
The Cougars scored again in the 43rd minute off a free kick from 18 yards out by senior defender
Isabella Tabja (Caracas, Venezuela) to the foot of Costanza who one-timed it in to double the Cougars' advantage.
Costanza completed the hat trick in the 63rd, assisted by junior forward

Samantha Dakake (Riverdale, N.J.) capped the scoring with her second career goal, with an assist to graduate forward
Maggie Motolese (Schnecksville, Pa.).
The Cougars dominated play, as sophomore GK
Ariana Gaminara (Las Vegas, Nev.) made two saves in 76 minutes for the Cougars (3-2, 1-0 CACC), who won their second straight. Freshman
Greta Farestad (Sewell, N.J.) saw her first action in net, playing the last 14 minutes without facing a shot against the Bears (1-3, 0-1 CACC).
Caldwell next hosts Chestnut Hill on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Caldwell Athletic Field.
