ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- Sophomore hitter Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) and Freshman hitter Andrea Enabosi (Piscataway, N.J.) had nine and seven kills, respectively, as the Cougars volleyballs squad (1-4, 1-1, fell at Dominican, 3-1, in a CACC matchup at the Hennessy Center.

Trailing, two sets to none, the Cougars rallied with a third-set breeze by a 25-12 count, finishing on two aces by sophomore setter Jordan Mack (Yorba Linda, Calif.) which followed two straight service aces by Schubert-Brown to give the Cougars a commanding 17-4 lead as they went on to the set win.

The teams battled it out in the fourth, the Cougars falling behind, 19-14, until four straight points narrowed the deficit to one. After a tradeof side-outs moved the score to 20-19, DU (1-7, 1-0) edged ahead, 23-19, before a service error and kills by Schubert-Brown and junior hitter Katherine Putsky (Rockaway, N.J.) pulled CU back within 23-22. But the Chargers took the last two points to close out the contest.

Senior middle blocker Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) had five block solos and three block assists in a dominant performance in front for Caldwell. Soph Libero Amber Gallo (Toms River, N.J.) was the team's top defender with 24 digs.

The Cougars conclude their four-game road swing with a non-league tilt at Pace on Saturday at 1 p.m.
