Cardenas scored her first goal of the season on an assist from senior defender
Isabella Tabja (Caracas, Venezuela) to give the Cougars the lead. Gaminara faced 15 shots, including 11 in the firs half, recording her second shutout of the season.
The Cougars open CACC play at Bloomfield on Tuesday at 7 p.m., in their next action.
