PHILADELPHIA -- Junior Joey Datta (Edison, N.J.) placed fifth at 28:19.1, leading the Caldwell Men's Cross Country team at the Philadelphia Metro Invitational hosted by Jefferson University on Saturday at Belmont Plateau.

Datta was joined by a trio of Cougars finishing in the top 100 in the race as CU was 11th in the team standings. Freshman Alex Jamieson (Portree, Scotland; 33:03.6, 76th), senior Alexander Geddes (Randolph, N.J.; 34:10.6, 87th) and freshman Logan Kudla (Bloomfield, N.J.)  were the Cougars' top scorers.
