GARDEN CITY, N.Y.- Caldwell University men's lacrosse junior Jayden Paladino (Hawthorne, N.J.) scored the lone goal as the Cougars fell to nationally ranked #7 Adelphi University 19-1 in a non-conference contest.
 
The Cougars fall to 1-3, while the Panthers improve to 5-0.
 
After trailing at halftime 12-0, Caldwell got on the board early in the third quarter as Paladino netted the lone Cougar goal at the 12:53 mark.
 
Senior Tim Livingston (Holtsville, N.Y.) recorded 15 saves in the loss, while senior Nicholas Mele (Albertson, N.Y.) posted one save in relief.   
 
The Cougars travel to St. Thomas Aquinas College for a non-conference contest on Saturday, March 11 at 1 pm.
