RUTHERFORD, N.J.- Caldwell University men's basketball freshman
Darnell Evans (Deer Park, N.Y.) led the way with 17 points as the Cougars stretched their win streak to seven with an 85-59 victory over Felician University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars improve to 15-7 overall and 11-2 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons fall to 5-15 and 1-10 in conference play.
The Golden Falcons pushed ahead 10-8 over the first six minutes of play. Caldwell roared back with a game-changing 25-4 run to pull ahead by double digits. Freshman

Daniel Boateng (Fords, N.J.) drained a triple, totaling seven points and capped the run with a lay-up at the 6:04 mark for a 33-14 lead.
Felician cut the score to 12 points at 38-26 but the Cougars made a late run to hold a 44-29 lead at halftime. Caldwell opened the second half with a 13-4 run to push their lead to 20 points en-route to the victory.
D. Evans led the way with 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Sophomore
Mark Heber (Paterson, N.J.) totaled 15 points and six boards, while Parsons added 14 points, three rebounds and six assists. Boateng finished with 14 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore
Jarnel Rancy (Middle Island, N.Y.) tallied eight boards and four blocks.
The Cougars travel to the University of Bridgeport for a CACC contest on Wednesday, February 8 at 7 pm.
