BRIDGEPORT, Conn.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team fell to the University of Bridgeport 4-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
 
The Cougars fall to 2-6-2 overall and 1-2-2 in the CACC, while the Purple Knights improve to 7-2-1 and 5-0-0 in conference play.
 
Bridgeport scored a pair of goals in the first half and added two goals in the second half. The Purple Knights held the advantage in shots 16-7 and shots on goals 10-2, while corner kicks were even at 5-5.
 
Sophomore Dylan Valencia (Elizabeth, N.J.) played all 90 minutes, totaling six saves.      
 
The Cougars host Goldey-Beacom College in a CACC contest on Saturday, October 1 at 1:30 pm.
