FLUSHING, N.Y.- Caldwell University women's volleyball junior 
Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) netted 11 kills as the Cougars fell to Queens College 3-1 in a non-conference match.
 
The Cougars fall to 3-7 overall, while the Knights improve to 5-8.
 
Queens rallied back late to win the opening set 26-24 and took the second set 25-22. Caldwell battled back to win the third set 25-15 but fell in the fourth set 25-22.
 
Junior 
Reese Sherwood (Salem Ore.) led the way with 16 kills, 13 assists and 11 digs along with four total blocks (three solo). Schiltz added 11 digs and one solo block.
 
Graduate 
Shayna Saltzman (Pine Beach, N.J.) posted 22 assists and 11 digs, while graduate 
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) led the team with 20 digs. Freshman 
Amber Gallo (Toms River, N.J.) finished with 16 digs, while sophomore 
Karin Ojeda (Toms River, N.J.) recorded 13 digs.  
 
Caldwell returns to conference play as they host Dominican University of New York on Wednesday, September 21 at 7 pm.
