CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University softball team stand at #3 in the first NCAA Division II East Region poll of the season. The Cougars currently lead the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with a 16-2 record in conference play.

Adelphi University holds the top spot in the first NCAA Division II Regional poll followed by fellow CACC institution Georgian Court University. The Cougars take third place followed by Franklin Pierce University and Wilmington University in the top-five.

Saint Anselm College comes in at #6 followed by Pace University at #7 and the University of Bridgeport at the #8 spot. St. Thomas Aquinas College and the University of New Haven round out the top-10.

The top-8 teams advance to the NCAA Division II Championship next month.

The Cougars host St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-conference doubleheader on Thursday, April 21 at 3 pm.
