RUTHERFORD, N.J.- Caldwell University men's lacrosse freshman
Ben Taylor (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) scored three goals as the Cougars fell to Felician University 16-8 in a in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game.
The Cougars fall to 2-9 overall and 0-5 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons improve to 6-7 and 2-4 in conference play.
Felician scored the first two goals of the game, while junior
Michael Brown (Glenolden, Pa.) scored at the 9:38 mark to break the run. The Golden Falcons added a goal late in the quarter for a 3-1 lead.

Kevin Albright (Mays Landing, N.J.) rallied the Cougars to start the second quarter as they scored goals to tie the game at 3-3. Felician retook the lead at 5-3 but sophomore
Jason Staudte (Sound Beach, N.J.) netted a goal to close the gap to 5-4. The Golden Falcons scored two late goals to lead 7-4 at halftime.
Staudte accounted for the lone Caldwell goal in the third quarter as Felician pushed ahead 14-5 after three quarters.
Taylor added two goals in the fourth quarter, while Albright netted a goal in the final 15 minutes.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Shane Murphy (Middletown, N.J.) posted 11 saves in just over 41 minutes of play in net. Junior
Nicholas Mele (Albertson, N.Y.) totaled five saves over the final 19 minutes.
The Cougars travel to Chestnut Hill College for a CACC contest on Saturday, April 23 at 12 pm.
