WEST CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's lacrosse junior
Kelsey Maxwell (Center Moriches, N.Y.) and senior
Jenna Steelman (Mays Landing, N.J.) netted goals as the Cougars fell to Thomas Jefferson University 22-2 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 1-7, and 1-3 in the CACC while Rams improve to 5-3 and 4-0 in conference play.
Maxwell got the Cougars on the board late in the opening quarter. Steelman netted her goal early in the fourth quarter for Caldwell as the Cougars recorded five shots in the game.
Senior
Mia Monacelli (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) played all 60 minutes, posting 13 saves in the win.
The Cougars travel to Holy Family University for a CACC contest on Tuesday, April 5 at 7 pm.
