POMONA, N.Y.- Caldwell University baseball senior
Kyle Richards (Sayreville, N.J.) homered and scored three runs as the Cougars fell to Dominican College 18-6 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference game.

The Cougars fall to 6-12 overall and 1-5 in the CACC, while the Chargers improve to 7-17 and 4-2 in conference play.

Caldwell jumped out to an early lead as freshman
Brandon Scalisi (New City, N.Y.) singled with one out, while Richards drew a walk. Sophomore
Noah Putney (Glassboro, N.J.) blasted a three-run homerun for a 3-0 Cougars lead.

Dominican rallied back with two runs in the first and took the lead with two runs in the second and three in the third.

Freshman
Santo Anzalone (Middle Village, N.Y.) singled in Richards in the fifth, while Richards added a two-run homerun in the seventh.

The Cougars travel to Thomas Jefferson University for a CACC doubleheader on Saturday, April 2 at noon. Â
