WEST CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's lacrosse junior
Kelsey Maxwell (Center Moriches, N.Y.) paced the Cougars with three goals and nine draw controls in the Cougars 22-12 loss to the University of Bridgeport in a non-conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 0-4 overall, while the Purple Knights improve to 5-1.

Emily Lasko (Jackson, N.J.) each netted goals in the opening quarter as the Cougars trailed 6-2 after the first 15 minutes of play.
Freshman
Madison Ellis (Wayne, N.J.) scored her first goal of the day in the second quarter. Maxwell netted two goals in the quarter including one in the final minute to close the gap to 12-5 at halftime.

Hannah Glaser (Boonton, N.J.) each scored three goals in the second half, while junior
Phoebe Ohnmuller (Mays Landing, N.J.) netted a goal for the Cougars in the fourth quarter.
Ellis led the way with four goals, while Maxwell finished with three goals and a team-high nine draw controls. Glaser totaled three goals with three draw controls, while Lasko recorded one goal, two assists and two draw controls.
Senior
Mia Monacelli (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) played all 60 minutes, posting 18 saves in the game.
The Cougars open conference play as they host Post University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest on Tuesday, March 22 at 4 pm at Essex Valley Field.
