CALDWELL, N.J.- Caldwell University women's volleyball freshman
Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) finished with eight kills as the Cougars fell to Bloomfield College 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 8-15 overall and 7-8 in the CACC, while Bears improve to 14-6 and 13-2 in conference play.
Bloomfield took the opening set 25-14 and won the second set 25-15. The teams played a close third set but the Bears pulled away late to win 25-18.
Schubert-Brown led the way with eight kills, while junior
Reese Sherwood (Salem Ore.) totaled seven kills, 12 assists and three digs. Graduate
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) recorded four kills and two blocks.

Shayna Saltzman (Pine Beach, N.J.) netted 10 assists, two aces and three digs, while graduate
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) finished with eight digs.
The Cougars host Wilmington University in a CACC contest for their home finale and senior day on Saturday, October 29 at 10 am.
