Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week, while junior
Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) earned weekly honor roll recognition.
Stormer averaged 5.08 digs per set, totaling 66 in a 2-1 week and 2-0 in conference play. She tallied 30 digs in a five-set win over Dominican University of New York and added 26 digs in a five-set victory against Georgian Court University.
Sherwood averaged 2.2 kills per set, totaling 28 for the week, while averaging 4.4 assists per set with 57 and 2.5 digs per set with 33 for the week. She added 11 total blocks in three matches. Sherwood totaled six kills, 26 assists, 13 digs and three blocks against Dominican and recorded a triple-double with 15 kills, 22 assists, 16 digs and six blocks in a win over Georgian Court.
The Cougars host North Division leader Bloomfield College on Thursday, October 27 at 5 pm.
