CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's soccer team fell to conference leader Post University 2-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall 4-8-3 overall and 3-4-3 in the CACC, while the Eagles improve to 10-3-2 and 7-1-2 in conference play.
Post took the early lead with a goal in the fifth minute of play. The Eagles added a goal in the second half in the 67
th minute of play.
The teams played a competitive match overall as the shots were even at 12-12 with Post holding a 7-4 shots on goal advantage. Post held the edge in corner kicks 4-1.
Freshman
Denyu Ricketts (Morristown, N.J.) recorded a team-high five shots in the game.
Sophomore
Dylan Valencia (Elizabeth, N.J.) posted five save in the game.
The Cougars welcome Goldey-Beacom College in a CACC contest on Thursday, October 20 at 3 pm.
