Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) led the team with 10 digs as the Cougars fell to Mercy College 3-0 in a non-conference match.
The Cougars fall to 6-14 overall, while the Mavericks improve to 10-4.
Mercy took the opening set 25-19 and took the second set 25-16. The Mavericks won the third set 25-23.

Reese Sherwood (Salem Ore.) led the Cougars with seven kills, nine assists, four digs and two total blocks. Freshman
Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) totaled five kills, three service aces and two digs.

Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) added five kills and one block, while graduate
Shayna Saltzman (Pine Beach, N.J.) finished with nine assists and six digs. Stormer led the team with 10 digs.
The Cougars return to conference play as they travel to Dominican University of New York on Wednesday, October 19 at 7 pm.
