PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- Caldwell University women's volleyball junior
Reese Sherwood (Salem Ore.) finished with eight kills as the Cougars fell to Thomas Jefferson University 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference contest.
The Cougars fall to 6-13 overall and 5-7 in the CACC, while Rams improve to 14-6 and 9-2 in conference play.
Thomas Jefferson won the opening set 25-15 and took the next two sets 25-15 and 25-19.
Sherwood led the way with eight kills, five assists and six digs, while freshman
Wyette Schubert-Brown (Chatsworth, N.J.) finished with five kills and four digs.
Junior
Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) and senior
Alexsandra Mojica (Kearny, N.J.) each posted three kills, while graduate
Shayna Saltzman (Pine Beach, N.J.) posted nine assists and six digs. Graduate
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) led the team with 11 digs.
The Cougars travel to Mercy College for a non-conference contest on Monday, October 17 at 7 pm.
