CALDWELL, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team fell to Felician University 3-0 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match.
The Cougars fall to 2-8 and 2-2 in the CACC, while the Golden Falcons improve to 4-10 and 2-2 in conference play.
Felician took the opening 25-23 and won the second set 25-21. The Golden Falcons won the match with a 25-16 third set win.
Sophomore
Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) led the Cougars with 13 kills and 14 digs, while sophomore
Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) recorded nine kills and four total blocks (two solo).
Senior
Samantha Ashton (Colonia, N.J.) tallied 40 assists, two kills, three service aces and four digs. Graduate
Shayna Saltzman (Pine Beach, N.J.) posted three kills and 13 digs, while senior
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) finished with 16 digs.
The Cougars travel to the University of the Science for a CACC contest on Friday, October 1 at 6 pm.
