EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's volleyball team fell to Saint Anselm College 3-0 on day one of the East Stroudsburg University Tournament.
The Cougars fall to 0-2, while the Hawks improve to 5-0.
Saint Anselm took the first set 25-15 and won the second set 25-14. The Hawks won the match with a 25-17 third set win.
Sophomore
Amanda Schiltz (Durham, N.C.) led the Cougars with six kills and three total blocks. Sophomore
Reese Sherwood (Salem, Ore.) added two kills, five digs and four assists.
Graduate
Shayna Saltzman (Pine Beach, N.J.) totaled seven digs, while senior
Humiko Stormer (Luckey, Ohio) finished with six digs.
The Cougars wrap up play at East Stroudsburg Tournament as they take on the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown at 1 pm and host East Stroudsburg at 5 pm.
